3D visualization – encompassing CAD drawing, 3D modeling, 3D rendering and light animation, is my specialty. I have over five years experience working with 3D software packages in some way, and over four years’ worth of work is reflected in this portfolio.
I currently use Rhinoceros, 3DS Max, SketchUp, and V-Ray to create my visualizations. However, I also have experience with Lumion, Cinema 4D and NoLimits Coaster.
Let’s Go Play was a master’s thesis project focused on developing a themed amusement park based around a balance of traditional experiences and participatory play attractions, and completed in June of 2017. This 3D visualization is one of the end results of the project – a design and plan for a themed amusement park land based on the […]
In 2016 and 2017, I was honored to work alongside two of my talented friends and classmates Nathan Evans and Emily Peck on the Savannah College of Art and Design’s finalist-placing entry in the 2017 Disney ImagiNations competition – Hideaway Grove. Nestled amongst the Spanish moss in the heart of Savannah, Georgia, this urban forest […]
As I have developed as a themed entertainment designer, I’ve gained a particular interest in “participatory play” attractions such as playgrounds, interactive attractions, and ropes courses! These ropes courses are based off of existing Ropes Courses Inc “Sky Trail” installations around the world, based on dimensional information presented in their public sales catalogue and reference […]
As a 3D visualization artist and themed entertainment designer, it’s important for me to demonstrate my competency in both disciplines. Enjoy this selection of 3D modeled themed amusement rides! Many of these rides are based off of real-life attractions sold by manufacturers around the world. Based on publicly-available information such as ride footprints and a large […]
This project is a conceptual museum design and site plan, fictionally for the city of Savannah, Georgia. While the city of Savannah welcomes tourists from all around the United States, the tourists are more interested in haunted attractions, trolley tours and holiday celebrations, rather than the city’s rich history as a port. These tourist activities are […]
This project is a conceptual photorealistic 3D rendering, part of the Third Place: The Re-imagined Urban Amusement Park project. Check out the project as a whole by clicking here. Moving inward from the conceptual master plan, this set of detailed 3D renderings focuses on one area of a fictional new urban amusement park on the former […]
This project is an architectural visualization and a vehicle visualization, developed as an entry in the 2014-15 Disney ImagiNations competition. The public transportation system in São Paulo, Brazil can be revitalized by combining safe and inviting terminal spaces with vehicles that appreciate the diverse regional culture. Our team developed brand new designs for the main […]
This project is a standalone attraction visualization. Today’s most thrilling outdoor roller coasters and attractions have large, exposed outdoor queues that are unbearable for park guests to wait in for extended periods of time. What if we were to design and build a totally refreshing and relaxing environment for an outdoor attraction that would help […]
This project is a complete themed experience visualization. Appalachian Creeks was a town full of people who had invented cre- ative ways to transport clean water to those without sufficient access to it. With lots of inventions coming out but no revenue coming in, however, the town inevitably went bust. Tourism companies came to the community, […]
This project is a conceptual amusement park design and 3D rendering. When vacationing at an amusement park or resort, relaxation is king. Bianco Hills’ bright, colorful atmosphere and its organic architecture help to create an upbeat environment where the natural and man- made seem to intersect with each other. The result is a simply wonderful […]
Various design projects completed from 2012 through 2014.
